Well, let's not go TOO crazy, I mean the Penguin did lay the foundation for some semi-reasonable positions, & he did so coherently & without clenching his jaw, forcing smiles, or rolling his eyes...also he didn't repeat himself repeatedly like some kind of repetition repeater...
Also, Batman didn't say "Really? that's all you've got? Platitudes & sentimental yarns from your terrified supporters, drunken tales with no substance or solution? A cute story about a blue-collar type...that's your knock-out punch, that's how you're going to convince the tired, huddled masses to vote *against* their own best interests & let you & your chums continue to take their grandchildren's futures?"...so I think we start to see the limits of the analogy.
