no gas...

no fucking gas. imagine when other trucks stop arriving. like the food trucks. or the medicine trucks. there are fights over a few gallons of gas already here in atlanta. folks are gonna stop going to work soon, and have in many cases. I'm sure it'll all work out, our gov. here in ga, the same one who prayed for rain to stop the drought, says there's plenty of gas and that it's mostly our own fault. but in reality, it's kind of semi-apocalyptic. I'm building a specialty vehicle in the back yard as we speak, just to be on the safe side:

at least there's a plan in place to stop civil unrest. nothing to see here folks, just mind your own business and don't worry about that kid getting his head kicked in across the way. he shoulda minded HIS own business...

if you decide to use, as your weapon of choice, a kickass honed, knife-edged boomerang, be certain to wear a chainmail glove. :)

reminds me of Mad Max, a movie we thought to be some apocalyptic piece of fiction. replace salt with gas and we might just have ourselves exactly that.

yeah, living here with no gas makes me more than a bit concerned about the relative kindness of my fellow 'humans...'

and strangely enough, I've already got a chainmail glove, for an unrelated matter...

oh the video was from mad max. we've only just entered the "road warrior" phase right now, I think...

soon enough for the chain mail and mohawks...or in our hipster douchebag culture, fauxhawks...

okay, i thought it might've been that...i don't remember the ace of spades song being in Mad Max...
Road Warrior was a friggin awesome movie. the whole series is great.

being out here in the desert, we might get a little more of that. especially with all the salt deposits. in fact, this very likely will be ground zero.

razors ready...

oh it wasn't. somebody made that video and I thought the addition of the ACE OF SPADES captured the mood rather well...
