yeah, should be decent. depp surely has taken on some of the responsibility of keeping HST's legacy alive.

he is a model for living as purely as possible, as close to the raw nerve of humanity as one can be. his book on the campaign trail/freak power is a scary look at how the illusory divides in the power structure will join together to resist REAL CHANGE and real democracy in order to maintain the status quo. it also demonstrates that it is best to focus on your local area, your own slice of reality, and make it a small example of possibility and honest living in this larger shitpile of greed and stupidity we call america.

never read it, but he's right. local politics in really the only kind that one person can affect...and the kind that will affect you the most. smart man, this HST was...and Depp is definitely keeping his legacy alive.

Depp's portrayal of HST in Fear and Loathing was something to behold.

i wonder if this film will play in the theocracy that is Utah.
