orange alert press...

what to wear during an orange alert is now a small press! it's first release has just been announced and you can check it out H E R E. it's very exiting to know that someone who cares about art as much as jason is one of the folks behind this effort; you can bet that what OA Press puts out is gonna be worth your time and money.

and those rumors about a small, orange-hued chicago small press putting out a book of letters from a couple of miscreant word typers are intensifying; stay tuned for more info about Sunlight at Midnight, Darkness at Noon: The Cunningham/McCreesh Letters...

at ease, gentlemen...

hosh and I are fucking thrilled that these dusty pages might see the light of day...hope you all come visit the depths of our minds way back in 2002, the dawn of the death of the american century...

now, let's have a drink and play some poker.

oh, Padre, on gambling: sin or no sin?

It's only a sin if you lose, man. . .

...or if you live in Utah (where everything is a sin, 'cept maybe procreating).

i have it from a top authority that those letters are something else. my informant assures me all will delight in the uses of language, in the themes expressed, in the general sense of hope in the face of overwhelming despair.

can't wait for the official release.

I've always played at UB, but I might just get me an account at FullTilt...

I don't play cash online anymore though...just fun online. I reserve my 'poker playing' for when I can look a man in the eye and know his ugly heart...

I've looked into the darkness of justin.barrett's poker heart and found it significant, and well-buttoned too ;)

thanks for the kind words jb; this thing is getting more and more monstrous as hosh and I conspire to add even more 'value' to the forthcoming release...

no one, and i mean no one, wants to stare into the darkness of this guy's heart...poker or no.

yeah, that night was a bad one for me. had another with Hosh in Albuquerque. happens. but, i'm still dark and mysterious and well-buttoned.

can't wait to see this book. lots of great stuff has been released in the last year or so. wow....and all my good friends involved in it all. hot damn....
