Last week I heard that the manager of that Chinese dog food plant associated with the melanine tainting, actually recieved the death penalty. Man - over here, he would simply get fired/sued, cash out his options/settle out of court, and then become a production safety consultant.
I am appalled.
Though my cat wants to move to China.
yeah, he might not even be fired over here, just encouraged to "spend more time with his family."
the globalization of food is one of the prime examples of humanities determination to destroy itself in as ugly a fashion as possible.
