Enjoying the seasons,
Father Luke
indeed. I'll post a few more of her new photos soon. I just love how quiet and magical this place is...
come on down the mile long gravel driveway and don't mind the dogs; I only sic Miles (the rottie/shepherd/chow mix) on the uninvited. the guns have all been made safe, but it's still probably best to arrive during daylight hours as we tend to be extra strange and much higher strung in the wee hours and darkness of the night...
cider is on the stove. we'll set out some cups...
Hmmm, you got rattle snakes?
-- Glenn C.
I've seen a few big black rat snakes and one black and yellow striped bastard I haven't figured out yet, but no rattlers...we've got a bear or two living somewhere on the property and there have been coyotes, deer, wild turkeys, and other assorted varmits.
it's a fine place if you're a wild animal who prefers to be left alone...like me. heh.
the black and yellow might be a king snake. we had one for many years. how big was it? the older they get, the more pronounced the colors differences become.
sounds like a great place.
